Conference Costs

Participants:

Registration fee:
$350: includes most meals June 18-22 and airport transfer. See below for more information.
$200 per guest: includes most meals June 18-22 and airport transfer. See below for more information.

Hotel Rooms at Speke Resort (includes breakfast):
single room: $85 per night (approximately $105 with VAT) (add 5% if paying with credit card)
double room: $130 per night (approximately $160 with VAT) (add 5% if paying with credit card)

Late Registration fee after May 15:
$400: includes most meals June 18-22 and airport transfer. See below for more information.
$250 per guest: includes most meals June 18-22 and airport transfer. See below for more information.

The registration fee includes:
Transportation from Entebbe airport to conference venue and back (arrivals June 17; departures June 22 and 23);
Transportation for all conference-related events, including field trip to Namulonge;
Access to all conference presentations;
Conference tote bag with conference materials;
DVD of conference proceedings sent to conference participants;
Field trip to Namulonge to visit farmers' fields and NaCRRI;
Free internet access at Speke Resort and Conference Center;

Meals and refreshments provided:
Two breaks per day with beverages and snacks;
Lunch Monday through Friday;
Beverages served during poster sessions;
Monday – Reception with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres following Golden Cassava Award presentation overlooking the beautiful Lake Victoria waterfront;
BBQ dinner on Tuesday;
African dinner in Namulonge on Wednesday with evening entertainment;
BBQ dinner on Thursday.

Participants pay for:
Airfare to Entebbe, Uganda airport (EBB)
Hotel (includes breakfast): see above

The $200 registration fee for each guest includes:

Your payment of $350.00 is due by May 15, 2012. You must pay the registration fee immediately upon registering.
